My Favourite Church Song (Tongan Song)

Malo E Lelei Everyone! I just like to post this amazing video on my blog, so you people can listen to this amazing song. This song is sang by Lata Mokofisi, Tevita Lolomana'ia & their amazing kids. I mostly like this Tongan Song because, there some parts in this video that the kids sang means GOOD THINGS about GOD. This is a very Loving & Caring Song about GOD, that's why I really like this video.

Logo Design

Talofa Lava Bloggers! Today we have been moving to different classes to finish off our Logo Designs and our other Artworks. This presentation shows you what I have drawn in my art class. I'm a really good artist, thats what everyone says to me. Just joking I'm not the best artist. But have a look at each of my slides and see what I have been doing in my art class. My Logo represents my house colour thats called Te Aurere. To translate Te Aurere into english, it means (The colour associated with the blood, sweat & tears of our ancestors). 

I have created this logo because, the colour of Te Aurere is Red and Red is my favorite colour forever in my life. The last slide which shows you a poster that says ONE PACIFIC PRODUCTIONS is designed for our little group called Nesian Fusion, so when ever we go and Perform somewhere we wear our One Pacific T-Shirt to show that we are the ONE PACIFIC PRODUCTION GROUP. Thanks to Johnny Angel for printing Miss Muliaumasealii's artwork for Nesian Fusion onto our T-Shirts and even onto a poster. Also Johnny Angel even comes to Team 5 to help us print our Logos onto our T-Shirts and also other stuffs. We are so lucky to have Johnny Angel to help us and also Miss Muliaumasealii for coming up with this idea of planning to create our own Logo Designs.

Talofa Lava Bloggers Here is a quick way that my teacher Matua Lewin has taught us how to think of our time tables fast and speedy and we call it Multiplication Tricks because it'a like tricks. It starts from our 0's time tables, all the way up to our 12's time tables. I hope you remember these ways to think fast about you time tables. Multiplication Tricks

0’s - Always 0

1’s - Something times 1 equals the same number

2’s - Doubles

3’s - Double + a set

4’s - Double, Double

5’s - Skip count

6’s - 5’s + a set

7’s - 5’s + two set

8’s - Doubles 3 times

9’s - Finger trick

10’s - Add a zero

11’s - Same number repeated

12’s - Use 11’s + a set

Revolution Tour

Revolution Tour

Last week on Thursday we had some amazing visitors and performances from America that wanted to come over and perform on our school stage. It was only Team 5 that got sent to hall to see the amazing things about the Revolution Tour. It was amazing that we got to learn some amazing words from them and got know one of there names. The man that introduced his self to us was Reggie Dabbs. Reggie was such a funny guy and called play his trumpet to us and that very cool. Also Reggie and his Revolution team taught us some words that were powerful. The words that Reggie taught was I CAN, YOU CAN, WE CAN & I GOT YOUR BACK. Reggie was talented o guy on the stage. Reggie even played music and his trumpet on the stage and also he got these awesome twin sisters to sing some amazing songs.

Reggie is a really kind man and hes a man that likes to make jokes around people. Reggie is always funny, but when it came to this bit that he told us a sad story about his family, it was like going to make me cry. He told us that he had a brother and 2 sisters. His Mum took his brother and his 2 sisters, but not him (Reggie). After Reggie's story it just made me remember about all the people that I new and have been gone forever. After that he played his trumpet and also the 1 Call Away song and started singing along to the beat of the trumpet.

So that was our amazing visitors that came over to our school on day to perform. They were very amazing and those words made me very powerful. Hope you enjoy writing about the amazing Revolution Tour team.

Maths Problem

Kia Ora Bloggers and welcome back to Term 2. This week my numeracy class has been learning about decimals and subtracting it. We are learning to solve subtraction problems with tenths by changing the second number into a whole number. These subtracting were very easy and it was so easy to move to slide to slide. ENJOY

Re-Crafting

Kia Ora Bloggers! Here is a presentation that myself and my Literacy Class has all been working together on. We have been learning about Re-crafting and Re-crafting means that you Re-write your story and changing the words that are boring and make it interesting and making sure that theirs good details for the readers to read.

Intro: Statistics

Talofa Lava Bloggers! Today we have been finishing off our Maths task thats called Intro: Statistics and we also have been learning about more about Statistics today. Today was our lucky last day to finish off our Intro: Statistic Task before we move on to our next task tomorrow. In Statistics there are Average, Range, Mode and Median and here is some things about Statistics.

Average: Add up all the numbers together and divide it by how many numbers that you have.
Range:  Take away the smallest number from the highest number
Mode: The most common number
Median: The middle number

Letter To Miss Berry

Dear Miss Berry,

My name is Finau and I am 11 years old and I go to Pt England School and I’m a year 8 student in Room 4 and this year is my last year of intermediate. In the beginning of the year I was very nervous to come back to school and when I came back to school my friends made me happy. The first day we started school I was very nervous and then the next day of school I really enjoyed it.

I grew up in Auckland and I live in Auckland with my parents, two sisters and my three brothers. My oldest brother past away so it's only my two sisters and my two  brothers that I live with now. Me and my sister would play outside with my puppy sometimes. My puppies name is called Whisky and he's a Male puppy. Whisky is a little cute puppy and he sometimes tries to lick us on our faces like a lollipop.    My sister and I will always have to clean Whisky’s Poo every single day.

When I was 9 years old I started Pt England School. The first day I started school I was so nervous. When I walked into my new classroom I was so nervous and I didn’t really talk to anyone in my classroom but except my teacher Miss Ouano. Miss Ouano was a nice teacher to me she will always make me happy. After that day I made new friends. My new friends were Mahana, May, Paris, Raewen, Melaia, Trinity and Ritua. They were always nice to me when I keep hanging out with them.

My hobbies are listening to music, swimming, playing netball and volley ball. Every weekends I would always love to listen to music through my headphones and play sports but my favourite sports is mostly netball and volley ball. 

 Talofa Lava Bloggers! Here is my letter that I wrote to my Amazing Teacher Miss Berry. Miss Berry is my first new teacher and I'm really enjoying spending times with her in my classroom. This letter is about me and I'm writing this so Miss Berry can get to know me better then her just knowing that I'm a Year 8 Student Girl at Pt England School.
