Immersion Assembly

Immersion Assembly!

WALT: Write a recount
This morning everyone has arrived to Pt England School. As everyone arrived to school, we have been sent to hall for an Immersion Assembly. We started off with Mrs Nua telling us about the Korero for this term. The Korero for this was AS I SEE IT. Also here are some things that Team 1 to 5 are learning about.
TEAM 1: Favorite things.
TEAM 2: Seasons.
TEAM 3: Grand Design and Architecture.
TEAM 4: Comic Art.
TEAM 5: Waka Arts.

Team 5’s Item was the best to me and also Team 4’s Item too. But mostly Team 5’s Item was interesting then Team 4’s. Team 5’s Item was mostly all about waka’s. Team 5 teachers were introducing their selves and what colour waka they come from. Mrs Garden was Hokulea, Miss Sadler was Hikianalia, Miss Berry was Te Aurere and Mrs Tele’a was the beautiful Hinemoana. Also the four waka’s had a waka race. The waka race was the best and the funniest race. As Miss Clark said On your mark get set GO! They started their race. As they heard GO they all started paddling. The first waka that paddle past the line was Hokulea.

Fiafia Night

WOOHOO Its Fiafia Tomorrow!Tomorrows a big day and everyone's going smash it on the stage. I’m totally looking forward to performing in front of Pt England School tomorrow night. The group that I choose to be in was the Kapahaka group. I’m feeling so excited and nervous at the same time, because the Kapahaka group is opening the performances tomorrow at Fiafia. Fiafia this year is going to be great and everyone is going to show their best performance to Pt England School. My culture is Tongan and I was suppose to be in the Tongan group for Fiafia but I decided to try out a New culture group so thats why I choose the Kapahaka group. What I like about Kapahaka is the actions and the singing and right now I am really enjoying the Kapahaka group.

Letter To Miss Berry

Dear Miss Berry,

My name is Finau and I am 11 years old and I go to Pt England School and I’m a year 8 student in Room 4 and this year is my last year of intermediate. In the beginning of the year I was very nervous to come back to school and when I came back to school my friends made me happy. The first day we started school I was very nervous and then the next day of school I really enjoyed it.

I grew up in Auckland and I live in Auckland with my parents, two sisters and my three brothers. My oldest brother past away so it's only my two sisters and my two  brothers that I live with now. Me and my sister would play outside with my puppy sometimes. My puppies name is called Whisky and he's a Male puppy. Whisky is a little cute puppy and he sometimes tries to lick us on our faces like a lollipop.    My sister and I will always have to clean Whisky’s Poo every single day.

When I was 9 years old I started Pt England School. The first day I started school I was so nervous. When I walked into my new classroom I was so nervous and I didn’t really talk to anyone in my classroom but except my teacher Miss Ouano. Miss Ouano was a nice teacher to me she will always make me happy. After that day I made new friends. My new friends were Mahana, May, Paris, Raewen, Melaia, Trinity and Ritua. They were always nice to me when I keep hanging out with them.

My hobbies are listening to music, swimming, playing netball and volley ball. Every weekends I would always love to listen to music through my headphones and play sports but my favourite sports is mostly netball and volley ball.

Talofa Lava Bloggers! Here is my letter that I wrote to my Amazing Teacher Miss Berry. Miss Berry is my first new teacher and I'm really enjoying spending times with her in my classroom. This letter is about me and I'm writing this so Miss Berry can get to know me better then her just knowing that I'm a Year 8 Student Girl at Pt England School.
Hope you enjoy reading my letter and hope you leave me some positive feedback!
Thank You Very Much Bloggers!!!
