What is culture?
We have been learning about cultures. Mrs Jacobsen read us some information about cultures and we wrote it into sentences.

What is Culture?
Culture is where you come from. Cultures have different languages, food, songs and dances. My culture is Tongan. We like to drink coconut milk.
Different countries have different cultures. In Japan the old people wear kimonos, put flowers in vases and drink tea.

Commonwealth Game Report
Here is my Commonwealth Game Report. I have been writing about netball. Also here is some information for you to read.
Netball
What is netball?
Netball is a game with seven players in each team. Two teams play against each other. In netball you pass the ball without moving your feet.In netball you only can move your hands to pass the ball or to shoot the ball in.
What equipment do you need?
The equipment that you will need is a netball ball,bibs with letters for positions on, court to play on, 2 goal posts, a whistle for the umpire Netball uniforms,
What are the rules?
The rules a no stepping, no bouncing the ball, no running with the ball, you cannot snatch or hit the ball out of a players hands, When defending the ball, you must stand 3 feet away from the person with the ball, players cannot hold the ball for more than 3 seconds, They have 3 seconds to stand outside of the court at the line where it went out and pass the ball.

This is my Reading Aictivity about Go, Red!. Here is some information about Go, Red!. This Reading Aictivity is all about football.
Go, Red!
The football season is every Saturday from April to August.
Because if it was summer they get hot and sunburn.
The team has to warm up so the team can get straight on to the game.
The goalie practices dodging backwards, forwards, sideways and saving.
Football,football boots,football gates and football player.
Because People might take it and when it windy it might blew away.

WW1
1.On Christmas they called it truce and sung.
2.Over 3000 of Britains motor vehicles they were turned into ambulance.
3.WW1 began on July 28, 1914 and lasted until November 11, 1918.
4.During WW1,dogs were used to carry messages in capsules attached to their body.
5.The two main sides were the Allies, which included France, Great Britain and Russia; and Germany and Austria-Hungary.
6.They also carried and placed telegraph wires in important areas
This morning we had an important assembly to remember the people who served us in the WW1 and we played Bugle-The Last Post.Mrs Flavell had put the flag half way down the pole.I felt sad and was just about to cry during the song.
I have been searching about WW1 and found out these facts and that WW1 happened 100 years ago.The Britain motor vehicles were turned into ambulances.

The Commonwealth Games or the friendly games were very special. The first game was held in 1930 in Canada. 11 Countries took 400 athletes to do different sport. The Commonwealth Games are always played every 4 years.
The Commonwealth Games have been changed a lot even their name has been changed. From 1930 to 1950 it was could British Empire Game. From 1954 to 1966 they were could British and Commonwealth Games. Later from 1970 to 1974 they were could the Commonwealth Games.
